Sorry about the lack of updates, it's just that... umm... just... I've been sooooo busy.
UFC 107 was awesome. Frank Mir is turning out to be one of the top contenders to Brock's belt, though I guess Carwin is still first in line. Dana White said that if Brock needs that major surgery then there will be a interim title. But I really want that Lesnar guy beaten!
And BJ Penn... yeah I don't know what to say, hats off to ya! He truly is dominating the 155. Please BJ, don't get overconfident and challenge GSP just yet. If you want to fight him you need to take on a couple of other welterweights first. THEN we can have that sweet fight. (If GSP is content with staying in his weightclass that is).
Btw, I need money! I need to buy a synth! :D
Hopefully I can get a job next year, or at least some a-kassa or whatever. And I think I need a PS3 aswell...

PS3
I've been playing a lot of PS3 with Freddy lately, and the game we play is of course Resident Evil 5. Yeah that's right! Resident Evil 5.
The game is really fun and cool, though not scary at all. It's very action oriented, but we knew that coming in so we weren't disappointed :)
I'd love to see some remakes of old RE games for PS3 with the new "RE4-camera".
What else? Oh, UFC 98 tomorrow! I'm really looking forward to the Evans vs Machida match. I really hope Machida will get the belt, he is... just awesome! (Think Ryu of Street Fighter 2)

Linux: Still haven't decided which distro I'm gonna go for. Tried about 6 or 7 of them lately. Having some trouble with the X-configuration on monitor+TV, but hopefully I'll work that out soon enough.
Statistically, 9 out of 10 people enjoy gang rape... HAHA... sorry :(
Anyways, back to studying math.

Alright, so it's official, Lyoto Machida will fight Rashad Evans on UFC 98. I expect it to be the best match of 2009. I really hope Machida wins, he is to me what Ryu is to Street Fighter 2! ;P

Cool
So me and Freddy saw this night's UFC. And it was a good event. I was rooting for Jackson of course, but when I found out that Machida would get a title shot if Jardine won I kinda hesitated. The TechnoViking did not win though...
And Shane Carwin is looking really good, maybe he should now be considered as one of the top contenders to the belt.
And oh, watched some of Gervais' shows with Johan and Jill earlier. But I'm not sure they agreed with my thoughts on the genius that is Ricky Gervais, at least Jill didn't seem to agree. Had some good discussion about my possible future though :)

UFC 96
Yup, UFC 96 tomorrow. Not the best fight card in history, but still good enough for me to loose a night's worth of sleep.
Really only interested in Quinton Jackson vs Keith Jardine match up. Maybe I care a biiiit about Gonzaga as well, mainly because of his name... Gonzaga! Sounds cool doesn't it? Sounds like something you'd yell when you chop bamboo with your katana.
Nothing really new here, still thinking about education and whatnot. At the moment it's leaning towards "civilingenjör", or Master of Science in Engineering. And I might (and probably) will go with the direction of computer security.
But I don't know, it's 5 years (+ a year for technical basics for me). So 6 years of pure studying and loooots of math and physics. Don't know if I can cope with that...
But on the other hand, I might as well try it out, if it doesn't suit me then I can just go and do something else. Always worth a shot right?

D2
So D3 is coming... and a lot of people are playing Diablo 2 now, including me.
Me and Freddy have been working on some characters these last couple of days. Nostalgia ftw!
And I saw UFC 86 last weekend... holy cow it was awesome. Jackson vs Griffin... damn! And now Affliction is coming up with an event, though it won't air on TV4 Sport. :/ It does has an ok fight card though.

UFC 84
Ohhhhhh yeaaaaahh!! Wanderlei Silva for president!!
Yeah, you guessed it, Wanderleiu Silva won his match against Keith Jardine.. 36 seconds.
Me, Nicke and Walle were watching this awesome event, and I must say this is the best UFC event in the history (as in for me caring about who wins).
There were some really great knockouts and good fights. B.J showed us once again that he is a really talented and amazing fighter.
UFC 86 doesn't look quite as strong as this event, sure it's fun to see Hughes again. And maybe fighters like Bisping, Werdum and Swick can make next event worth waiting for. Guess we'll know for sure in June.
Mother's day today, so yay for you mom! Even though I really doubt you're reading this blog :P Especially now when you're in Bulgaria.
And speaking of mothers, I really need more episodes of How I Met Your Mother. Hurry up airing the fourth season now ok?

UFC 83 Countdown
Alright
So I've been at a preparty at Jessica's today. Totally sober!!! Kinda unusual, but interesting indeed.
Jennifer and Jenny were also sober so I was in a good company. =)
And now Nicke is 25, hip hip.. hoooraaay!
Never went to Morfar's though.
UFC now then...
2 hours until UFC 83 starts, I'm getting really excited here.
I'll probably update here later tonight. Now I'm gonna mess around with Cubase.

The Man From Earth
Howdy!
Watched the movie The Man From Earth with Walle and Nicke today. Really interesting movie, might come off as an anti-christian movie, but I really thought it was kind of... well, thoughtful.
I watched Countdown to UFC 83 aswell, the Serra vs GSP match is looking more and more interesting. I'm still rooting for GSP, even though Matt is looking quite awesome aswell. Guess we'll see what happens this Saturday! Whooohaa!
And about Cubase...
I've decided to record some Dream Theater covers, The Spirit Carries On and Through Her Eyes but I'm not really sure if I should be the one singing or if I should ask a friend do it. Or just go with an instrumental version of it, though that might be quite boring I guess.
And Ivory.. MAAAAN it's good. I played along with DT's Solitary Shell, and I couldn't tell the difference between their recorded piano or the thing I was playing. (By sound, not the actual notes... since I don't rock that much)

En trevlig afton ute i Gullbrandstorp som vanligt.
Dock var jag väldigt trött eftersom jag inte sovit något förra natten, Cubase höll mig uppe! Och jag har inte heller druckit någon alkohol alls i helgen. Måste tighta till mig snart alltså!
Har hittat en underbar vst-plugg till Cubase, Miroslav Philarmonik. Riktigt nice alltså.
Håller även på att fixa Synthogy Ivory också, 32GB ljudbank, det kan ju bara bli sååå vackert pianoljud av det.

Fotboll & UFC
Jaha, då förlorade Sverige snopet mot Brasilien.
Tyckte ändå att Sverige gjorde en helt ok match i många avseenden. Dock spelade vi bort bollen allt för lätt. Fast vidare överraskad över det är jag knappast. Men lite glad måste jag ändå säga att jag är, Pato fick göra mål! Och mitt Milanhjärta brinner starkt i kvällens motgångar.
Hängde en del med Nicke och Tompa idag, kollade på några "UFC All access". Man blir lätt sugen på att träna när man ser de där gubbarna hålla på. Inspirerande!
